MAW Consulting (“we/our/us”) values our customers and we are acutely aware of the importance of maintaining privacy and confidentiality.  We understand that all customers and prospective customers are quite rightly concerned to know that their data will not be used for any purpose unintended by them, and will not fall into the hands of a third party. 

This Privacy Notice outlines the types of personal information we collect and how we hold and process such information.  More importantly it outlines the procedures and controls in place to protect that data.

We will only collect and use personal data in ways that are described here, and in a manner that is consistent with our obligations and your rights under law.

By agreeing to provide us with your personal information you are acknowledging that we are at liberty to use that data as set out in this Privacy Notice.

What Data Do We Collect?

We do not knowingly collect data relating to children and so this notice does not relate to information on people less than 18 years of age.

Personal data, or personal information, is any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

Identity Data includes first name, last name, username or similar identifier and title.
Contact Data includes address, email address and telephone numbers.
Financial Data includes bank account and payment card details.
Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of services you have purchased from us.
Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences.

We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you: we will notify you if this is the case at the time.
